2000 Honda Civic DX Hatchback

    

2000 Honda Civic DX Hatchback, 5 speed manual, 112,000 miles, 70% freeway 30% city driving.
Clean title in hand - no liens, registered till Feb 2012, Kelly Blue Book retail value is about $6,400 and I am selling for $4,900

Good breaks, clutch, cold A/C, stock engine D16Y7, no modifications

Body and bumpers have small blemishes as expected in 10 year old car.

The reason for selling is that I and my girlfriend have 2 other vehicles and do not have space to keep all of them. I am not desperate to sell it though, so please only serious inquiries.

Recent maintenance:

Oxygen sensor primary at 110k
Timing belt at 105k
Drive (alternator) and PS belts at 100k
New battery at 102k
Wiper blades RainX 2 front + 1 rear at 102k
Radiator coolant flush, brake fluid, fuel filter and air filter at 101k
Spark plugs NGK platinum, ignition wires, distributor rotor and cap (BWD) at  97k
Transmission oil at 90k
A/C recharged at 90k
Radiator, thermostat and hoses at 75k
Alignment 4 wheels at 72k

Tires 195 60 R14 Runway Enduro - 606 have about 12,000 miles on them, wide and good handling, alloy rims.

Oil and filter changed every 3 to 4k miles.  Have all repair and purchase receipts.

The condition of this car shows in excellent mileage: city 33.5mpg, hwy up to 48mpg, (12 gal tank lasts at least 400 miles) and much better than  average smog test results. It is a DOT certified Low Emissions Vehicle. These hatchbacks are hard to find.

The main advantages of this car are:
low gas consumption
versatility, it has a lot of cargo space in the back, rear seats are folding
very easy to park in tight spaces.
good visibility all around
Hondas are known for reliability and low maintenance, they can last way beyond 250k miles
Parts are inexpensive and repairs can be done at independent shops for fraction of dealer prices.

Spare tire, 14 - 15 inch, Goodyear, 4-bolt pattern; 4 x 4.5" or 4 x 115 mm. For temporary emergency use only. Fits many American, Korean and Japanese cars: Ford, Hyundai, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mazda, Subaru. Size is T115 x 70 D14.  $20
